Information We Collect

To provide and improve our service, we may collect certain information through standard browser technologies. This may include your IP address, access timestamps, pages viewed, browser and device types, and link click activity. Your IP address is recorded when a short URL is created, and is used to investigate abuse or misuse and to limit excessive requests. This information is used solely for statistical analysis and for preventing and responding to abuse, and, except where required by law or to report abuse, is not provided to third parties. The creator of a short URL can view aggregated click counts for it, using the management data saved on their device when it was created. The records used are the click time, referrer, device type, and country; IP addresses are not shown to the creator.

Data stored on your device (localStorage)

Some features of this site use your browser's localStorage to keep data on your device. This includes your short URL history with its labels and pins, the management data used to change settings of links you created, and preferences such as theme and language. Only when showing clicks or changing a link's destination or settings is that short URL's management key sent to the server. You can delete this data at any time from the history page or by clearing your browser's site data.

Compare with friends in the game

When you press "Get my code" on the game's friends page, we create one code registration on the server. It holds only the 8-character code, a hash of the key given to your device (the key itself is not stored), the issue date, the number of days your results were shown and the last day counted. It does not include a device identifier, IP address or nickname. The registration has no fixed retention period; when you make a new code, the old code's registration is deleted. While "Show my results to friends" is on, each time you finish today's challenge we store a friends record with that day's result (clicks, countries reached and ending), the number of the name shown in tables, the number of days shown and the time of the record. It expires after 3 days and is deleted automatically. Turning off "Show my results to friends" deletes today's friends record and keeps the code registration. Your friends list, your own code and key, and your friend stamps are stored only in your browser's localStorage. When friends' results are loaded, only the codes in your list are sent to the server, and those codes are not stored.

Purpose of Use

The information we collect is used for stable service operation, feature improvement, understanding usage patterns, and preventing and responding to unauthorized use. We do not use collected information for any purposes other than those stated above.

Third-Party Sharing

We use analytics tools to understand how our site is used. This site may also participate in third-party affiliate programs. These third-party services may collect information through standard browser technologies. For details on how each service handles information, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

Information Management

Collected information is stored with appropriate security measures in place. Information that is no longer needed is deleted within a reasonable timeframe. However, please understand that it is technically difficult to guarantee complete information security.
